Pan fried pork chops are a quick and delicious meal to prepare for a weeknight dinner or when some friends pop by. I love Berkshire T-Bone chops but you can use any brand you like and this recipe calls for 1 1/2 thick chop.
In this video I also prepared some baby Yukon Gold potatoes pan roasted in the oven but for something different, I love to serve a side dish of pasta with my Quick Marinara Sauce from the previous video. I made four chops in this video but you can make whatever you need.
You will notice in a lot I my recipes of use very little ingredients just enough to enhance the natural flavor.
Ingredients
4 Berkshire T-Bone pork chops (1 1/2 thick)
Olive oil
Kosher salt
Black pepper
Fresh rosemary (1 sprig)
Butter one Tablespoon or more
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Heat cast iron on cooktop and your butter and rosemary. Rub olive oil, salt and pepper and chops. Brown chops on one side and place cast iron in oven until your meat thermometer reaches 160. Let chops rest and serve with your choice of side.
Enjoy!
